Hello, I am Winter!

I am 28 years old, unemployed, and from the big city. I enjoy reading and writing, and I am an amateur baker. Not too long ago, I moved to the beautiful Hill Country to be with my 63-year-old lover, Bill, whom I met online. Such drastic changes in my life have propelled me on a journey of self-discovery, exploring the depths of love, personal growth, and becoming one with nature, in pursuit of becoming the best version of myself. 

Never would I have thought I would be in a relationship with a gentleman 35 years my senior, quit alcohol (almost one year sober), or start a blog! Before, I didn’t believe I could achieve the unimaginable because I was always confining myself in a box full of despair. I wasn’t living my life to its fullest capacity, weary of society’s judgment, and tormented and controlled by my emotions. I was in a hole of darkness, sinking deep, discontent with everything and everyone in existence. However, the great unknown, sent to me one night, the notion of living an abundant life, and I knew that was to be my primary purpose. 

So curiously bear witness to the intimacies of my life’s journey, the vulnerabilities in my indecision, the obstacles I overcome, and the lessons I learn, so that my experiences can inspire growth. If the only good I could do for the world is to make someone else feel like they’re capable, then I have accomplished my life’s purpose.
